Students of the Minsk Radio Engineering College visited the spiritual and educational center "Ark" of the St. Elisabeth Monastery, where the Shukshin Days festival takes place.

The festival is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Belarusian cinema and the 95th anniversary of the birth of the Soviet film director, actor, screenwriter, writer, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, Laureate of State Prizes of the USSR, Knight of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor VASILY SHUKSHIN

The guys got acquainted with an exhibition of photographic works by the famous cameraman, photo artist, film director, friend and colleague of Vasily Shukshin – Anatoly Dmitrievich Zabolotsky
The exhibition in the spiritual and educational center "Ark" is a collection of figures, faces, eyes and moods, a gallery of natural beauty. The photographs show the frozen aesthetics of Altai, the place where such iconic films as “Kalina Krasnaya” and “Stoves and Benches” were filmed.
Shukshin’s works have also been filmed in Belarusian cinema. One of the striking examples is a short film shot at the Belarusfilm film studio based on the story “Cherednichenko and the Circus.”
